  5. 1.  Listing the Data Base in date order
  6. When Prompted to input a starting point. Inputing a date in the format
  7. [mmddyyyy]  or [mmddyy] will start listing from that date on.

  9. 2.  Listing the Data Base in Actress Order.
  10. Entering an actress's name when prompted for a starting place will start
  11. QRDB listing from that name on. Try Edna Purviance or just Edna.

  13. 3.  Browse List In Released Order.
  14. As in .1 above, when Prompted to input a starting point. Inputing a date
  15. in the format [mmddyyyy]  or [mmddyy] will start listing from that date
  16. on. This Function lists data one record per line it will only display as
  17. much of a record as will fit on one line. When a page has been displayed
  18. you will be given the option to continue, quit or display a complete
  19. record.

  21. 4.  Listing the Data Base in date order W/Memos
  22. Same as in paragraph 1. above except all memo's associated with a record
  23. are listed.

  25. 5.  Display a Memo
  26. Enter a memo number obtained from a record displayed in on of the lists
  27. and that memo will be displayed. Try 81/2.

  29. 4.  String Search
  30. You will be prompted to Input a Search String or a pair of words. The
  31. dual word search works like this, input a pair of words seperated by a +
  32. sign such as, Norman+Sennett. QRDB will search each record in the Data
  33. Base for your search string or a match for your pair of words is found.
  34. Searching for the Release Date is not practical as it is stored in dBase
  35. format. Use the Browse or List function instead. When listing files QRDB
  36. converts between the dbase format YYYYMMDD and MM/DD/YYYY for you.

  38. 5.  Pause Page Toggle does just that. Once Toggled off, data will be
  39. displayed without stoping until the end of database is reached or
  40. until (D)one is pressed.
